NFT Review 21 - We Are Inevitable
Axie to launch its own DEX, RMRK pays $60k to gem holders, Bank of America bullish on NFTs, and more.
NFT Review is a weekly newsletter covering NFTs in the Web3 ecosystem on Polkadot’s side of the woods. The newsletter is put together by Bruno Škvorc and gbaci.
For a more general overview of the Web3 ecosystem, consider subscribing to Dot Leap.
Looking for a primer on NFTs? This should be the last introduction you’ll ever need.
Dear NFT enthusiast,
Despite the massive growth of the web3 technology stack (first it was DeFi, then NFTs, and soon DeData, DeID, and more yet to be born), there is still doubt in some of our minds that web3 is just a fad that will eventually pass.
It is natural to have doubts about trends that have a great deal of uncertainty surrounding them. But then, web3 (along with NFTs) are a different beast—one that can’t afford to stop or turn back. Pandora’s box is open and it will stay that way.
If you nurse any doubts about what the future potentially holds, then this tweet thread will help you gain some much-needed perspective.
When you’re done reading, you will see that, like Thanos said, “(I am) web3 is inevitable.” When people taste true ownership and freedom, it will be near impossible for them to relinquish it.
Thank you for reading and have a great week.

👨🏼🎨 RMRK Artist Spotlight: Marlua and Her Emotions
On this episode of RAS, we caught up with Marlua, a visual artist from Zagreb.
The first thing one notices about Marlua's art is the delicate balance of chaos and beauty. Most of her pieces spot faces with intriguing emotions (and bad dentition for the most part). Given her love for expressionism and abstract art, it is no surprise that her art turns out the way it does.
We spoke about how she started, her favorite artists, her process, and more.
