Despite the massive growth of the web3 technology stack (first it was DeFi, then NFTs, and soon DeData, DeID, and more yet to be born), there is still doubt in some of our minds that web3 is just a fad that will eventually pass.
It is natural to have doubts about trends that have a great deal of uncertainty surrounding them. But then, web3 (along with NFTs) are a different beast—one that can’t afford to stop or turn back. Pandora’s box is open and it will stay that way.
If you nurse any doubts about what the future potentially holds, then this tweet thread will help you gain some much-needed perspective.

The lobster NFTs are already flooring at 3.8 ETH each, purely because having one might mean you’re a high-net-worth high-influence individual in the crypto space, and this makes it very appealing for new projects to airdrop their tokens to Lobster holders as advertisement or incentive for review.
