Dear NFT enthusiast,
At this rate, we feel like a broken record when we say mainstream adoption of NFTs is on a meteoric rise. But you can’t really blame us when the news keeps delivering more bullish adoption scenarios.
Just this past week, media & entertainment giants AMC and Sony announced that NFTs will be given to the buyers of tickets for the premiere of ‘Spider Man: No Way Home’. This isn’t the first time a major corporation is using NFTs as added incentive to draw more sales.
As if that wasn’t enough adoption sweetness, Budweiser went ahead to launch an NFT collection that sold out in a short time.
While we are happy to see more big brands joining the party, we hold out hope for a more meaningful use of the technology on a broad scale. NFT ticketing for example is something we would love to see blow up. It’s such a perfect use-case.
With the metaverse on the horizon, we’re sure that it’s only a matter of time.
On an academic note, non-fungible token is the Collins Dictionary’s word of the year.

RMRK released a new explainer video about automatic emails and how identities work on Kusama and RMRK.
Singular Changelog 5 was released, introducing such changes as:

Kanaria mega sale - Super Founder #7 sold for 1650 KSM (~ $543,303). This makes Kanaria a sales juggernaut in the RMRK and Kusama ecosystem.
For context, the top collection on RMRK (Chaos Apes) has a total trading volume of 3,870 KSM (this is the price for two Kanaria super founders). You can view the charts here.
