Dear NFT enthusiast,
In a strongly worded Instagram post made on Monday, Kanye West stated “Do not ask me to do a f*cking NFT”, explaining that he is focused on “building real products in the real world.”
In a similar but less hostile tone, NASA stated that it “does not wish for its images to be used for these purposes”, where ‘these purposes’ are NFTs. Furthermore, many Twitter experts took to bashing Ubisoft’s Vice President for saying that some gamers “don’t get” that NFTs, when implemented fairly, mean more power to the gamers.
To be clear, the purpose of this isn’t to bash anyone for not liking NFTs. We already know that their opinions hold no weight against reality, and the reality is that NFT adoption is intensifying.
Kanye, for all his hostility, was sober enough to add at the end of his ‘rant’—“ask me later”. Which means he already envisions a later where he has changed his mind. Thus, in his defiance, he still shows the immense future NFTs have ahead of them.
We are glad we are here to witness the early days of a new paradigm.
Thank you for reading and have a great week.
