Dear NFT enthusiast,
Last week came with some pretty big news. First was the report that JPMorgan is officially the first major bank in the Metaverse, having opened a virtual lounge in blockchain-based Decentraland in an effort to capitalise on a “$1 trillion market opportunity”. The $1 trillion market opportunity bit was culled from the megabank’s new report on Opportunities in the Metaverse.
As if that wasn’t bullish enough, reports surfaced that the New York Stock Exchange, or NYSE, has filed a trademark application for trading NFTs.
Anyone who understands knows that it doesn’t get more mainstream than Wall Street. When they enter, they enter with deep wells of liquidity and advertising. In summary, NFT and metaverse adoption is only going to speed up from here. I mean, even Disney and McDonald's are trying to get in. Read on to get the gist.
Thank you for reading and have a great week.
