Dear NFT enthusiast,
Something monumental happened last week, changing the NFT marketplace landscape forever. The RMRK team launched Singular 2.0, an upgrade on the old Singular (which was more similar in feature spec with other NFT platforms—OpenSea and Mintable to name a few).
But with the launch of Singular 2.0, no other marketplace comes close in terms of features. For the uninitiated, Singular 2.0 is powered by RMRK 2.0, an NFT protocol that allows:
NFTs to own and equip other NFTs
NFTs to have multiple resources
NFTs to accept emotes
NFTs to change based on conditions
NFTs to become DAOs
Thus, with this new update, Singular has become the most advanced NFT marketplace in the world. With the new Singular, creators can launch interactive collections that go beyond simple jpegs, making it easier and more fun to build communities around collections.
But beyond these special attributes, the new Singular also rolled out with support for royalties and dutch auctions, two features the artist community had been hoping for. You can learn more about the new Singular release here.
Thank you for reading and have a great week.

👨🏼🎨 RMRK Artist Spotlight: The KusamaDragons
On this episode of RAS, we spoke to the co-founder of KusamaDragons, a collection of 110 handdrawn dragons on Singular with a current floor price of 13 KSM. In a space where most collections are created solely by artists, it was nice to gain the perspective of an NFT creator who is not an artist.
We had a really insightful chat with KusamaDragons, learning about his fascinating creative process--the epiphany and the deep obsession--, his NFT goals, his favorite NFT artist, and more.
