Looking for a primer on NFTs? This should be the last introduction you’ll ever need.
Dear NFT enthusiast,
Last week, NFT adoption reached a threshold. British rock band Muse released their latest album first in the NFT format. One thousand copies, made available on music-focused NFT marketplace Serenade, sold out in 25 minutes. Following the album's full release, it rose to the top of the British album charts having sold 51,000 copies.
Why is this a big deal? Signaling.
Muse is one of the world’s biggest bands and they gave ‘respect’ to the NFT format by using it as an early part of its sales process. With every news report written about this album, the NFT paradigm will be spread that much further. Before long, everyone who had an issue with NFTs will be forced to reconsider. First, the believers (us) adopt, then the celebrities, and then the sheeple (not meant to be derogatory).
Read on for more interesting NFT updates from around the world.
Thank you for reading and have a great week.
