Dear NFT enthusiast,
Despite reports that NFT trading volume has plunged 98% from its January highs, adoption metrics are still ticking up (number of unique NFT buyers and sellers and global adoption by the world’s top brands). It is safe to say that despite the bear market, the builders have kept building.
RMRK is one such team and they recently published their first monthly ecosystem report. Of the many updates, the most notable is definitely the release of the Nested Royalties user interface. This is a pretty big deal because it removes the final barrier to fully functional nested NFT interactions on Singular, making it the first NFT marketplace to have such robust nesting functionality. Read more about Nested NFTs and Royalties here.
Another major update, which has us more excited than the first, is RMRK EVM contracts. According to the report, the EVM contracts are ready and are now being reviewed. This means we are much closer to having a more powerful RMRK protocol–because with EVM, a lot more features are possible.
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend.
